DRESS CODE

At MHCA, we believe that the installation of a school wardrobe places emphasis on the character development of the student, rather than on external appearances. We also believe that simplifying choices will help reduce stress in the home and classroom by removing the focus on clothing. 

 

Our goal is to provide clear and concise information regarding our school uniform with the hopes that students will take pride in their wardrobe and their school. 

BOYS

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY

  • Solid colored gray, burgundy or black school uniform pants 

  • Solid colored polo style uniform shirts (burgundy, white or gray) with collar, short or long sleeve

  • Tennis shoes

TUESDAY, THURSDAY 

  • Gray, burgundy or black sweatpants

  • MHCA t-shirt (to be purchased from school)

  • Tennis shoes

GIRLS

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY

  • Solid colored gray, burgundy or black school uniform skirts, dress or pants (elastic waist preferred) 

  • Solid colored polo style uniform shirts (burgundy, white or gray) with collar short or long sleeve

  • Tennis shoes

TUESDAY, THURSDAY 

 

  • Gray, burgundy or black sweatpants

  • MHCA t-shirt (to be purchased from school)

  • Tennis shoes

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Please write the students' name on all outerwear clothing.

  • Wardrobe should be neat, mended and clean.

  • Starting the first day of school, students must be dressed in complete wardrobe items.

  • No belts on pants since we encourage the children to be independent when taking care of themselves in the bathroom.

  • Walmart and Target carry a variety of boys' school uniform pants and shirts.

SHOES 

  • Tennis shoes/sneakers that are completely closed-in should be worn. 

  • Please purchase Velcro style shoes (unless your child knows how to tie his/her shoes). 

  • Students are not permitted to wear sandals, flip flops, or slip-on shoes (e.g Crocs) at any time for safety reasons.
